This hotel is always one of the busiest and for good reason. First they have the best location in all of Dumaguete; right on the boulevard. Second, it's a very nice and modern hotel with a very big conference center. Thirdly, they have a very nice cafeteria with high quality filipino foods and desserts. Lastly, their staff is very well trained and friendly. Play speak excellent english and are always ready to assist in any way they can.

This hotel fronts the ocean where there is a wide walkway. The rooms are super clean with mini fridge, electric kettle, TV, Internet, filtered water in a caraf and 2 bottles of water. There is a filtered water station with cold and VERY hot water by the elevator. This hotel is quite and well mannered people tend to stay there Filipinos and foreigners. Queen bed room P1 500 a night. Small cafeteria off the lobby with Filipino food choices and it's inexpensive.

Just a warning: you have to make sure when reserving that the room they get for you has a window. Some of their rooms have no window (I'm not kidding) and we were placed in a windowless, tomb-like room for our first two nights. We were able to move to a room with a view of the sea and didn't have to pay extra naman--in which case, request for a room facing the outside and you're all set. Staff are friendly and very helpful. Hotel cafe downstairs serves great food (which is one of the reasons why we thought of staying here, due to fond memories of Cafe Filomena) and location's great. I recommend their black forest cake! Rooms could be soundproofed because sometimes you can hear what's going on outside (don't get a room near their floor office).

So far I havent tried getting a room in Bethel but Ive been here many times for events. They have several function rooms that many Dumaguetenos will have been in at least once for school or family or other sorts of events. I have been here for a professional seminar, a business opening party, and family gathering for the 40th day of a great grandmothers passing. Usually the food is quite good and the service people stand by if anything is needed. The sound system is also well maintained and theres different sizes of rooms for different needs. Bethel is also popular because of how convenient the location is and how familiar are with it. If you need to book one of their function rooms, you should do it as early as when youre sure of the date because its popularity means rooms get booked quickly, both for function and hotel rooms.

Most strategic location. Convenient that there i a cafeteria-type Cafe Filomena at the ground floor. Good enough food. Rooms are spacious enough and access to public transportation is practically right there at your doorstep.

The accessibility of the hotel is within the metro.. nice location.. the place is nice and cozy... And the staff is very accomodating in catering the guests need.. be back next time.. kudos!!

Twin room spacious air con good no hot water only one cold ambient tap but shower heated hot and good Cleaning poor and had to be chased up to clean only twice in 10 days stay Food in restaurant traditional but excellent quality and value and good wi fi

Great place for the price, 1200p? Or somewhere around there per night with wifi. Wake up and you are right on the boulevard. In-house, cafeteria style restaurant is good.
